A statement that Pastor Vernon Jacob made yesterday stood out for me, and this morning as I listened to a Bible study, it was reiterated from a different perspective…
The thought is this…
》》》》Our Faith in God is directly proportional to our belief in His ability《《《《
Our Peace, our confidence, our ability to Stand Firm… it all depends on How BIG God is in our eyes.
Yesterday, as Pastor Vernon spoke about Drifting from God, he pointed out that the further away we are from God, the smaller God tends to appear in relation to the largeness of our problem.
Something else that I have come to realise is that when we speak of satan, we tend to give him far too much of credit and view him as an equal match to God in terms of his power.
Our God created the universe, do you even stop to think of how incredibly massive the universe is and how tiny we are in relation?
Now consider the size of the God who created it. An Omnipresent (all present) Omnipotent (all powerful) Omniscient (all present) God…
The enemy is none of these things, and yet we continue to live in fear, we continue to be anxious in spite of all the promises that God has given us.
Don’t minimize God in your lack of faith, rather study His word, encourage yourself with His promises, spend time worshipping and praising Him, and grow your Faith in accordance with His Greatness.
James 2:19
You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror.
#Faith is taking action.
We need to walk in faith.
Faith reveals a reliance on God.
Faith is when you act like God is telling the truth!
Faith is really what we believe to be true about God.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.
Matthew 19:26
