If there was ever a perfect season for me to have read this book, it was certainly now!
My dear friend Cheryl Mackinnon told me about it in early December last year, and I finally got myself a copy a couple weeks ago.
The more I read, the slower I began to read… I absorbed every word, every bit of hope it had to give… I now understand why the author, Jaci Mun-Gavin, recommends that you read a day at a time.
I was so hungry for more though, I simply read through, but went back a number of times to re-read sections and appreciate the power and depth of her trust, her faith and most of all, the way in which she taught me to Keep Hope Alive in my heart, in the season that we are now all faced with.
Jaci also has an amazing, award winning “Faith and Family” Blog https://www.jacimungavin.com/
If you are looking for a burst of Hope, read this miraculous account of her ballerina girl and I assure you that your heart will be filled with the kind of Hope that only comes from Jesus, our way maker, miracle worker…
So beautiful… glad i made a small difference. I followed that story two years ago and just couldn’t believe that Kiara had gone through this and came out alive..
I’d love to meet Jaci and Kiara one day…
You are such a blessing! I am sure we will. Would be amazing!
Followed the blog after the accident and was blown away. Have yet to read the book.
You would love it!
Remember the faith of this family at the time. Followed the updates.
You must read the book, it’s so encouraging, particular now when we really need hope
